Giving children a childhood: one-of-a-kind toy cars "PRIX"-viewed at fitzsu society
Fitzsu Society, a Los Angeles based modern tabletop & home accessories store decided together with PLAYSAM to take Streamliner and invite their favorite designers from around the world, crossing over industries, to create their own interpretation of the original toy car. Michael Graves, Konstantin Grcic, Richard Meier & Yves Behar are among the over 33 designers who have signed on to participate in the FitzsuGrandPrix an event on October 19, 2006 where the finished one-of-a-kind wooden toys will be auctioned off to benefit the World Childhood Foundation. The interpretation of this shape by some of the world most influential designers is an exhilarating concept that is sure to lead to an amazing event. The Fitzsu Grand Prix have given more than 20 000 $US to World Childhood Foundation.

The Playsam stamp
A modern and minimalist designed stamp proudly displays the very best of Swedish design from the last 50 years. Playsam's Streamliner was given its first award 20 years ago. EXCELLENT SWEDISH DESIGN with honourable mention was the jury's verdict. The Swedish National Museum and Swedish Design Council selected the Streamliner series as a 1998 Swedish Design Classic. For the 2005 design year, the Streamliner is shown to the public as a Swedish stamp.
