David Hundley
David Hundley is known for the clean, modern aesthetic of his design, a style influenced by his design education in the U.S., England, and Switzerland. His early experience ranged from overseeing the addition of convention facilities, to a luxury resort, to art director of a four-color magazine. He also taught graphic design and design history at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
He has left his mark on luxury products as designer of the Gucci Home and Jewelry Collection under Tom Ford. As creative director of a joint venture with the Ford Motor Company, he designed luxury lifestyle products for the Premier Automotive Group (Volvo, Land Rover, Lincoln, Jaguar and Aston Martin). Mr. Hundley also was a design consultant to Ralph Lauren, advising Mr. Lauren on all categories within the company.
He is currently a consultant to Lexus, where he contributes to the lifestyle products and presentation of The Lexus Collection and advises the company on gifts and high visibility events nationwide. Based on the success of the Gucci Dog collection, which he introduced in 1998, Mr. Hundley is launching Dave’s Dog, a collection of luxury dog accessories, with Italian luxury leather maker Arte & Cuoio.
