Steven Blaess

Steven Blaess grew up in the unique environment of the Great Australian Bight. It was somewhere between the open, uninterrupted beauty of the bush and the coastal landscapes where Steven formed an unconcious awareness of his environment. His purpose to create forms and spaces that express simplified beauty and freedom within form is displayed in all of his designs. Steven graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Human Environments from the University of South Australia in 1994. Over the past two decades, Steven has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Australia. His work extends across Industrial Design for transport, product, lighting, furniture, plastics, manufacturing, architecture and interiors.
