Jan Utzon is a world renowned Danish architect. The eldest son of Jørn and Lis Utzon, Jan grew up in the family home in the forests near Helsingør, Denmark. He studied architecture both in Sydney and Copenhagen,and graduated Spring 1970. After graduation he worked in various offices in Denmark, and with his father on a variety of collaborations including the National Assembly Building in Kuwait, the Esbjerg Performing Arts Building, The Nature Center in Skagen, and with his brother Kim, on the Paustian Furniture Showroom in Copenhagen. Jan is a keen sailor and now lives in the family home in Helsingør. He continues to practice internationally.
